Construction site worker found murdered

The body of a 35-year-old construction labourer was found in a water tank of a five-storey building under construction in Guruwar Peth on Thursday. The body,identified as that Chandrapal Prajapati alias Shahrukh Khan was found in a water tank in A wing of Shubhalabh Residency,which is under construction,in the afternoon.

He is suspected to have been murdered. Police are trying to ascertain the identitiy of the killers. Khadak police sent the body to Sassoon hospital for post-mortem. Police ientified Prajapati from some papers found in his pocket.

Medical reports confirmed injuries on the head. Police also found some liquor bottles in the building. Investigation officer R L Kadam said,“Prajapati was a native of Allahabad. He was working at a construction site near Vasantdada Sugar Institute in Manjari.”
