Winning Talks
Nowrosjee Wadia College conducted its Extempore Speech Competition recently for its debating society. The event was attended by pricipal B B Thakur and Vice-Principal S LBonde along with Prof Usha Ashtekr,Prof Himmat Tobare and Prof R F Surve serving as judges. Nida Shaikh and Aishwarya Kaner were awarded first and second prize in the junior college division,while the senior college division prizes were won by Sibin Jose and Dinesh Gopalkrishnan and were given away by the principal. Winners were chosen from 16 participating students from junior,senior and postgraduate college.

Sounding impressive
SeamEdu’s third batch of radio jockeys successfully graduated through Radio Dreamz. The event featured an on-stage radio show,followed by a session of comic acts performed by enthusiastic and creative students. Saurabh Gadgil – Vice Chariman ,SeamEdu and Partner,PNG and Roshan Chenani were invited to judge the competition. Gadgil posed interesting questions to students all through the event. There was also a special performance by RJ Vicky,holder of a Limca Book of Records title on his small scale cars. The eminent RJ Jack was also in attendance. SeamEdu’s Radio Dreamz event is a radio show to feature performances by visually impaired students trained by SeamEdu,aspiring to become the future voices of the radio industry.

Fun Event
Symbioses center for Management and Human Resource and Development’s (SCMHRD) marketing club is organising Marketing Symposium,an annual event of the college on November 21 and 22. The event will have Prahalad Kakkar as one of the keynote speakers. Leaders from various sectors like FMCG,Automobiles,Retail and Telecom will be invited to enrich the audience with their insightful vision. Apart from these sessions,there are competitions like Ricera which is a paper presentation competition organised to give a stage for budding talents all over B school.
