Two more swine flu deaths
Two deaths due to swine flu were registered by the health department,increasing the toll from April to 206. Forty-year-old Amar Majhi from Hadapsar and Shobha Khedekar from Purandar died due to H1N1 virus at Sassoon General Hospital and Noble Hospital respectively.

Youth drowns in Katraj lake
A man drowned in Katraj lake while immersing the Ganesh idol on Wednesday. Kunal Shridhar Vazare (18) of Santosh Nagar,Katraj,had gone there with his family. Around 12 noon,Vazare,his brother and a friend slipped into the lake. Two of them were rescued except Vazare.
