Pawar: Full majority for city’s future

Playing down Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan’s statement of a post-poll alliance between the Congress and the NCP in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC),Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday said the NCP’s focus was ushering in fast development of the city and for that his party was seeking full majority. “I only know that the NCP needs full majority to push development works. We were compelled to tie up with the saffron combine in PMC due to adamant leaders of the Congress.”
