A teenager was killed in front of Vaibhav cinema on Pune-Solapur Road in Hadapsar on Tuesday morning after a motorcycle collided with another two-wheeler and then went on to hit a PMPML bus.

A teenager was killed in front of Vaibhav cinema on Pune-Solapur Road in Hadapsar on Tuesday morning after a motorcycle collided with another two-wheeler and then went on to hit a PMPML bus. The deceased has been identified as Sajesh Vinodan Wazkul (19) of Chintamani Nagar in Hadapsar. A complaint has been lodged at the Hadapsar police station. Police said Sajesh was pursuing BCom from Wadia College. He is a native of Kerala. He had come to Pune for education and was residing at Hadapsar.

PCMC octroi rate on gold,silver down
The standing committee of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation on Tuesday reduced the octroi on gold and silver from 2 per cent to 0.35 per cent. The PCMC had earlier sent notices to 250 jewellers for octroi evasion,triggering a controversy.
