Hazares lawyer sends legal notice to Manish Tewari
Social activist Anna Hazares lawyer Milind Pawar on Wednesday evening sent a legal notice to Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari,seeking a written apology for his remarks against him.
Tewari had accused Hazare of being steeped in corruption from head to toe. The decision to send the legal notice was taken after he had a meeting with Hazare in Ralegan Siddhi on September 2,the day on which Anna addressed a gram sabha in his native village for the first time after the Ramlila Madian fast. Though Tewari expressed regret,Anna instructed me to send the legal notice. This will deter anyone else from making false allegations, Pawar said.
