Noise pollution: Cases against mandals

Action was taken against some dahi handi mandals in the city for allegedly causing nuisance and playing loud speakers after the 10 pm deadline on the occasion of Janmashtami on Monday. Rahul Kalate,president of Mhatoba Pratishthan in Wakad,was booked for allegedly manhandling policemen who asked him to stop the loud speakers being played by his mandal around 10.10 pm on Monday.
