S P College to install CCTVs

The Pune city unit of youth Congress presented a memorandum to the principal of S P College on Friday to restrict the entry of outsiders into the college campus. The principal has assured to install close circuit TV cameras on the campus and would make identity cards compulsory, said Hrishikesh Balgude,vice-president of city youth Congress unit.

NDA cadets shine at shooting contest

Eight cadets of National Defence Academy (NDA) participated in 54th National Shooting Competition as part of Maharashtra shooting team. The competition was held at Tuglaqabad Shooting Ranges,New Delhi,recently. The NDA Shooting Team bagged three silver medals. Cadet Ansul Bansal got an individual silver medal and a team silver medal in 0.177 air pistol (Youth Category) while Cadet Ashish Tiwari got a team silver medal in 0.22 ifle prone (Junior Category).
