After completing 200 episodes,Maniben.com has now roped in Suresh Menon as Quick Gum Murugan. As a result,a gaudily dressed Suresh will be sharing the screen space with Smriti Irani,who plays the central character. Given Smriti’s love for bright and colourful saris,the show will surely showcase a riot of colours even if it flounders to deliver the promised laughs. The viewers may witness some on-screen bonding as the actors will be seen together after almost two decades.

Since most television shows survive on so-called ‘twists and turns’ Dill Mill Gaye is now working on developing a chemistry between Karan Singh Grover (Dr Armaan) and Karan Wahi (Dr Siddhant). However,in the true tradition of soaps,this will soon prove to be a comedy of errors. Guess Indian televison is not ready to talk about homosexuality yet.

Knotty trouble
It seems the lead couple on Zee TV’s Pavithra Rishta,Sushant Singh Rajput (who plays Manav) and Ankita Lokhande (Archana) are a worried lot. The day of the divorce between Manav and Archana is just around the corner. After the telly divorce, this real-life couple fears they won’t be able to spend much time on the sets together. But that might be good news for the show considering that they shared a vanity van between shots,dined together and took off on shopping sprees between breaks. However,today’s episode will say if producer Ekta Kapoor put a spanner in the real and telly romance.
