Burmans Legacy
w,a group started 14 years ago by Raj Nagul,Mahesh Kekar,Sudheer Kulkarni and Ashutosh Soman,is celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of RD Burman at Tilak Smarak Mandir on June 27,7:30 pm onwards. The show will be based on Panchams original soundtracks and will explain the thought process behind his work. Producer Srishti Behl Arya,daughter of Ramesh Behl,will be the chief guest. Music directors Bhupendra Singh,Sunil Kaushik,Ravi Sundaram and Raju Singh will also attend the event.
The Connecting Link
Take a trip down memory lane at the exhibition Laxmi Road Punes Life Line on the Edge which highlights the history and current issues faced by the iconic area. The exhibition is being put up at Vishrambaug Wada by 23 architecture students who have documented and studied Laxmi Road as a connector in the old city,a commercial street in modern days and a potential urban space. The exhibition will be inaugurated at 5.30 pm today and will continue till June 26.
