The Modern Past Association,along with Avinash Bhosale Infrastructure will be organising its 20th “Dawn to Dusk” state-level basketball tournament on August 15 to celebrate its 57th foundation day.
The tournament was stated in 1991 which saw the participation of 20 teams. Two years back,a record 80 teams participated from Pune and other districts of Maharashtra. Last year,the tournment could not be held because of the swine flu epidemic,stated a press release. Apart from the awards for winners of the mens section and the women’s section,there are other prizes on offer.
The tournament is open to all clubs,institutions,associations,schools and colleges. Venues of the tournament are Fergusson College Basketball Court and Modern College Basket Court. All interested teams are requested to confirm their entries on or before August 11 before 7 pm at Modern basketball court. The draws will be held on August 12 at Modern Basketball Ground.
