All in the family
Shruti Haasan has not only composed the music for her father’s film Unnaipol Oruvan,the Tamil remake of A Wednesday,but she has also co-directed the music video of the film which we hear is a lethal hip-hop number titled Vaanum Ellai Illai. Also,we hear that Shruti’s stunner of a sister,Akshara Haasan,who is a trained hip-hop and jazz dancer,has been roped in to choreograph the music video. What can we say; some girls have got it all.

At loggerheads
We hear that sparks are flying between Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt on the sets of Aladin. Says director Sujoy Ghosh,“When two actors like them are pitted against each other,there are bound to be fireworks. They are on different sides of the fence and hence have fought it out. I can assure that those looking for a man to man combat,whether physically or verbally,won’t be disappointed.” Nothing like some old-fashioned fist fights to get the adrenaline pumping.

Second innings
Remember Zeenat Aman’s super glam look in the song Chura Liya from Yaadon Ki Baaraat? It’s being relived now and by none other than Zeenie herself in the film Dunno Y..Naa Jaane Kyon directed by Sanjay Sharma. In the film,she plays the role of a glam mom. Aman had to embark on a stringent exercise regime to lose weight for the contemporary and glam role. And has the yesteryear stunner still got it in her to make eyeballs pop and heartbeats tremble? The verdict’s not out yet.
