If you haven’t yet checked out Girish Karnad’s contemporary new comic drama Wedding Album,make sure you catch it this time. The play deals with the joys and travails of a regular urban middle-class family with each member having his or her own unique story to tell. Pune,Play Zone

The Vakdevatha Theatre Festival 2011 presents two short plays and one full-length drama. These are Nrithanjali’s Karnan,the tale of Karna from the Mahabharata,and Goodnite,by Malayali playwright NN Pillai. The full-length play Mukangal will be staged by Kaliyuga Theatres from Kerala.
