Priyanka Chopra has everyone vying for her attention these days. From top notch directors to the most sought-after actors, everybody wants to work with her. She certainly isn’t complaining. “Life is shaping up better than planned. Things have just happened to me. Touchwood,” Chopra smiles. And with a week-long vacation with her girlfriends coming up next, life couldn’t have seemed brighter for the actress.

The vacation is well-deserved. She has just wrapped up the schedule of her two upcoming films—Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani and Vishal Bharadwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf. “I really need it. I haven’t vacationed in a long time,” says Chopra. But once the vacation is over, she will be back to her packed schedule. In August, the 28-year-old is headed to Brazil to shoot for Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. When she returns in October,Don 2 shooting will take off, followed by Anurag Basu’s Silence in March. “I am going to travel all over the world with these films. I love exploring new places,” she says. The actress, however, regrets that she has to say no to so many scripts that she would have loved to work on. “I just don’t have the time to do all those films.”

She has explored quite a few places in India in the last few months, thanks to Saat Khoon Maaf. From Kashmir,to Coorg and Pondicherry,Chopra had a blast travelling to all these beautiful locales. “But Coorg is my favourite. I had heard so much about its lush beauty. When I went there,I was actually mesmerised,” she says. Apart from the lovely locales, shooting for SKM has been quite an enriching experience, though strenuous, for her.

In the film, she plays the role of Susanna,a woman who ages from 20 to 65. “It was challenging because it marked the journey of a woman. I had to make sure my mannerisms and moves gelled with the age I was portraying,” says Chopra, who also used prosthetics to look old. Despite that, she is being wooed by seven men in the film. “It certainly made me feel special,” she blushes. However,Chopra confesses that she was nervous while working with the likes of Naseerudin Shah and Annu Kapoor. “I have known John (Abraham) and Neil (Nitin Mukesh) forever and we are really good buddies. But it was something else working with Naseer Sir and Annu Sir. I learnt a lot from them,” states the actress.

With the release of SKM slated for January 2011,Chopra is excited over her September release Anjaana Anjaani. This rom-com will showcase Ranbir Kapoor and her as the lead pair for the first time. She terms this genre as her most favourite and is all praises for the Kapoor scion. “He is so much fun. He is awesome,a super guy, hugely talented and we had an awesome time together,” she says, stressing on the fact that Basu’s next will cast Kapoor opposite her as well.

Right now though, she is raring to show off her swift moves and daredevilry on the sets of KKK. “I have been on a strict diet and I have been going to the gym regularly. The stunts will happen once I am in Brazil,” she sounds confident. After the show, her affair with stunts will continue on the sets of Don 2,where she will again be seen doing a lot of stunts and action sequences.

With her life and career almost on the perfect domain, does she ever fear of losing it all one day? “I have always been true to whatever I have done. I have never thought of awards, rewards, hits and flops. All I want is to gain good experience,” she says.
