Horse Power
Renowned Canadian artist Mark Streicher’s colossal figures of horses have turned Gallery Maskara in Colaba into a wonderland. His show,titled Ashwamedh,is a continuation of series ‘equestrian monuments’ and will be on exhibit till January 30. The artist is known for his engagement with architectural spaces and lends a larger-than-life feel to the gallery space with his enormous nylon-skin figures filled with air.

Armed with craziness and a history of unpredictable yet memorable gigs,dOP — a musical trio from Paris popular for its house music — will set Aurus Sundown ablaze with their live performance on Sunday. Soul Strings
Heartbeats — The Music Within,a fusion musical concert will play host to the soulful music of Zakir Hussain,Shankar Mahadevan,U Shrinivas,Sivamani and V Selvaganesh at the Shanmukhananda Auditorium,Sion. The concert will be a compilation of tabla performances,Carnatic and Hindustani vocals and percussion.
