‘PUNCTUM II: A Critical Look at Landscape in South Asian Photography’ is a group photography exhibition by seven artists—Gauri Gill,Sonia Khurana,Yamini Nayar,Prajakta Potnis,Sreshta Premnath and Sharmila Samant. The works examine the essential moments that capture the South Asian environment. The exhibition derives its name from the fragments of frozen time causing a puncturing or disturbance in the viewer’s mind that philosopher Roland Barthes defines as the ‘punctum’.

Directed by Paritosh Painter Get Rid of My Wife is about three friends—Shree,Adi and Manav,who live together with their handicaps. Mario,a goon,is hired to recover their debts. After realizing that there isn’t much chance of the three repaying the debts,Mario cuts a deal with them — to kidnap a rich industrialist. Starring Smita Bansal,Balvinder Singh Suri and Nasir Khan,this one’s a laugh riot for sure.
