Man succumbs to swine flu, Mumbai toll at 5

The death of a 58-year-old man from Banaras in the civic-run Kasturba Hospital late Thursday night has raised the death toll due to swine flu to five in the city and 28 across the state.

Since January 19, when cases of this air-borne infection spread rapidly across the city, 23 patients (10 from Mumbai) have been admitted for treatment of H1N1 virus.
