Kanchwala struggles

Kanchwala found himself twice in arrears after dropping the first and third frames. But he struck form in the nick of time and romped through with a late charge.

Hemnani endured a determined challenge before prevailing over a dour Mohit Chhada 42-35,30-55,63-45,34-64,54-51.

After snatching a 2-1 lead,Hemnani was surprised by Chhada’s grit as the latter forced the decider after winning the crucial fourth frame quite comfortably while enjoying a healthy lead.

Chhada ran Hemnani close in the decider that could have gone either way. But Hemnani capitalised on Chhada’s late blemish and sealed the frame and match with a narrow 54-51 win.
