Fires in Churchgate,Andheri; no casualty
A minor fire broke out at the Bombay Hospital in Churchgate on at 11.30 am on Monday. No casualties were reported. Four fire engines and three water tankers were pressed into service,said the official. Police have registered a case.

In a similar incident,a minor fire broke out in Gala number B-8 on the first floor of the Soonawala Industrial Estate,Andheri (East),on Monday. No casualties were reported.

Boy found dead in Vartak Nagar
A 14-year-old boy was found dead at Vartak Nagar on Monday,said police. The Vartak Nagar police registered a case of accidental death. “The deceased,Pradeep Yadav,was a school dropout. On Monday morning,his body was found near the transformer at the MSEB station by some residents,” said a police officer.
