HC wants to see list of original members

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed the Adarsh Housing Society to submit a list of its original and existing members and also asked when the land on which the society stands was handed to the state by the Defence ministry. “There is a clear admission in your letter of proposal (seeking allotment of plot) in 1999 that land was in possession of Defence. We want to know when Defence handed it over to the state,” the Division Bench of Justices B H Marlapalle and U D Salvi said.

The Bench also asked Adarsh to produce the terms and conditions of land allotment by the state government in January 2003.
