Don Bosco defeated Shardashram by 25 runs in the final of the inter-school Matunga Gujarati Seva Mandal inter-school tournament. The main performer for the winning team was Akarshit Gomel who had figures of 4/34 in the final. For his consistent show in the tournament,Gomel was named the Man of the Series.

Batting first Don Bosco scored 179 with useful contributions from Kshitij Dhuri (47) and Ajinkya Patil (41). In reply Shardashram were dismissed for 154. Sumit Bhatt complied a score of 41 but that wasn’t enough.
