Colaba constable hurt in hit-and-run

The two were taken to KEM Hospital by a taxi driver.

Salvi,who suffered a cut on an eyebrow and bruises on legs and arms,was admitted to Bombay Hospital on Monday after his condition did not improve,police said.

An FIR has been registered at J J Marg Police Station.

“The man who hit Amit was driving in a very rash manner. We visited Amit in the morning. He is in good spirits and not seriously hurt,” said inspector Subhash Warang.

“I am not badly hurt,the doctors said I would be discharged in a couple of days,” Salvi said.
