A special CBI court on Monday rejected bail applications filed by four persons,including two Navy officials,arrested in connection with the defence examination paper leak case. The court rejected their bail pea stating that the offence was of serious nature and releasing them on bail could hamper the investigations.

The ACB of CBI had on September 26 arrested four persons administrative officers of Western and Eastern Naval Command,R C Naik and D S Murthi,former sailor and owner of a Defence recruitment agency Rambhir Singh Rawat and a teacher Hoshiyar Singh. Commander RC Saini was also arrested a week later.
