Gurjjar agitation: WRs losses add up to Rs 3 crore
The Gurjjar agitation has cost Western Railway (WR) over Rs 3 crore due to the cancellation of trains. WR chief spokesperson Sharat Chandrayan said due to the three-week agitation,WR had to divert all trains going from Mumbai to North India. Trains coming from South India,but using the WR to reach North India,too were diverted,adding up to eight hours to the journey time. Plus,14 trains had to be cancelled.
