OUTDOORS might not be where one would choose to spend an afternoon these days,but a day-long electronic dance music (EDM) festival could be good enough reason to do so. Put together by artiste/event management company Plus91 and Knack Exhibition and Display,Partido Festival will be held at Tulip Star Hotel,Juhu,on May 31 and feature a number of international DJs.

The headlining act is Dutch trance DJ Richard Durand,who has played in India a couple of times in the past. Alongside him will be another Dutch DJ,Allure. This began as a project by Tiesto and DJ Allure was a pseudonym he used,but since 2011,it has been represented by a different DJ. British house/techno DJ Paul Thomas and Russian progressive house/trance act Bobina are the others that will play at the event. The festival will be followed by an after-party which will feature a set by the Swiss DJ Daniel Portman.
