Murder case solved,2 held

In less than 20 days after a murder,the Ludhiana police claimed to have cracked the case by arresting two accused on Saturday. Yashpal alias Pappu was murdered on March 28. He was beheaded and his body was thrown in the fields of one Daljit Singh in Ladhowal area. Addressing the media,Assistant Commissioner of Police Narinderpal Singh Ruby said Yashpal’s wife had an extra-marital affair with one of his friends,Kewal Krishan. Both were residents of Bhargo Camp,Jalandhar.

On March 28,Kewal,along with his friend Suvir Chand,took Yashpal along the Sutlej where all of them had liquor. Later,Yashpal was left unconscious as he was intoxicated. Suvir and Kewal Krishan murdered Yashpal and threw his head in the Sutlej,while the body was thrown in the field. ens
