MoU signed for technology transfer

Carban Alloy Bicycle which is in demand is still not manufactured in India because of non-availability of raw material and technology.

In a first, Bicycle Research and Development Orgnisation (BRADO) President Manjinder Singh Sachdeva signed an MOU with China Bicycle Association (CBA) President Ma Zhong Chau for technology transfer of High End Bicycle and Alloy Parts of Bicycle.

Carban Alloy Bicycle which is in demand is still not manufactured in India because of non-availability of raw material and technology. Now with the help CBA,BRADO will introduce new technology in India,said Sachdeva. It is a light weight bicycle which costs more than Rs 50,000 if imported and the price can be reduced if manufacturing starts here,he added.

If this technology is transferred to India then the country will gain a lot in international business,said Onkar Singh Pahwa,chairman BRADO.

Chau said China will exchange new technology for the MoU signed products and announced that within two year this technology and parts will be available in India.
