Ludhiana Academy cagers triumph

Showing their supremacy on the basketball court,Ludhiana Academy outplayed Faridkot in a one-sided affair by 69-29 in an opening tie of the 59th Punjab senior basketball championship which got underway at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana from Tuesday. In other matches,Muktsar routed Faridkot by 73-24,while Mansa got the better of Ferozepur by 64-40. In an exciting match,Moga ended the challenge of Bathinda beating them by 77-56,on the other hand Ludhiana overpowered Sangrur by 48-20. In the women’s section,hosts Ludhiana sent Sangrur packing by registering easy win at 39-9. Meanwhile,Bathinda outplayed Muktsar by 24-15.
