Prashar sizzles for Chandigarh
Riding high on a scintillating double century by Amit Prashar (241),Chandigarh posted a mammoth total of 495 for 4 in 95 overs in their first innings against Mohali. Dominating the opposition right from the start,Prashar flayed the opposition bowlers all over the park. His knock consisted of 25 boundaries and nine towering sixes as he made 241 runs off 219 balls. Chandigarh started the innings with Sarul Kanwar and Vishwas Bhalla,who put up an opening stand of 83 runs before Vishwas Bhalla got out for 20 runs. Sarul Kanwar at this stage was joined by Amit Prashar and the duo went on to stitch a second-wicket partnership of 146 runs before Sarul departed with his personal score on 120.
