Celebration of Hindi at CIPHET
Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology,on Wednesday,inaugurated a 14-day Hindi fortnightly celebration by organising various competitions to promote the national language. Dr R K Gupta said,There is no better language than Hindi. It connects this country.
Dr Deepak Raj Rai,Head Transfer of Technology Division,said that we should take pride in our national language.
He added,In Japan,less than two percent of their population know English,still they have progressed a lot and do business with the entire world.
Dr S N Jha,Head AS and EC division,lamented that Hindi had failed to attain national language status. Senior scientist,Dr Sangeeta Chopra coordinated the inaugural session.
Hindi fest at Drishti school
Students of Drishti Dr RC Jain school celebrated Hindi Divas on September 14. This was the day that the Hindi language was declared a national language by the Indian constitution in 1949.
The student of Class V gave a presentation during the morning assembly. The presentation began with Saraswati Vandana. The highlight of the program was the play based on Mohavare and Lokokities.
Hum Samaye Ki Ret Par Chhodte Chalen Nishan was sung by the students. They also listed some Hindi words that had found their way into the Oxford dictionary.
