Two minor sisters were allegedly murdered in Naraura police station area of Bulandshahr. Their bodies were found lying near the railway tracks on Tuesday morning.
Police said Shabina (12) and Mobina (10),residents of Pilkhana village,had gone missing on Monday night. The girls’ mother has lodged an FIR against two residents of the same village: Hashim,a retired Army personnel working as a security guard at Naraura power plant,and Firoz,a clerk at Aligarh Muslim University. The family had an old enmity with the two accused,police said.
Naraura station officer Bramhesh Kumar said that prima facie it appears that they were either strangled or poisoned, he said.
Kumar said the girls’ mother has complained against Hashim and Firoz saying the two duo been threatening her to settle a pending rape case lodged against them. She said her daughters were killed to force her to settle the case,police said,adding that no one has been arrested yet.
