Children’s literature is the theme of the 9th National Book Fair that opened at Moti Mahal Grounds on Friday,in spite of a heavy downpour. In the 170 book stalls,there is a generous volume of books for kids,including Hindi translations of Enid Blyton’s Famous 5 and Secret 7 series,besides abridged classics,Arabian Nights,stories of Birbal,Tenalirama and more. There are educational CDs for students of levels from pre-school to class XII. Iken Store has brought a ‘talking pen’ that reads out aloud a story on placing the tip on the page. The fair is on till September 25.
