State to implement MIS in development projects

The state will implement Management Information System (MIS) in its development projects undertaken by Public Works Department (PWD),Irrigation and Rural Engineering Department (RED). The web-enabled MIS is being implemented in projects under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA).

“We are committed for transparency. MIS implementation will ensure all records are in public and can be accessed by anyone. It will also check discrepancies committed while construction of projects,” Shivpal Yadav,minister for PWD and Irrigation said.

For this,feeding of data of these projects has already been started by the respective departments. Even the existing and completed projects will also be covered under the MIS.
