Sahara FC reach football league final

Sahara FC defeated White Eagle club 4-2 through penalty shootout in their semi-final match of the District Football League at Dilkusha grounds,Lucknow on Monday. When no goals could be scored in the given time-period,extra time was given but when no goals could be scored then also,the match had to be decided through penalty shootout. Hari,Vivek,Pradeep and Ashish found the target on behalf of the victors while from the White Eagle side,Steve and Kumar were the goal-getters.

In a quarter-final match of the same league,two goals by Kuldeep Rawat (10th and 19th minute) went a long way as his team— UP Police defeated Sports College 2-0 at Chowk Stadium.

The semi-final match between UP Police and Sunrise club will be played at 4.00 pm on Tuesday while the final will be played on Wednesday at Dilkusha grounds.
