Rain hits Azamgarh rally

Following heavy rains on Monday,the Youth Congress meet in Azamgarh was turned into a procession,followed by a dharna in front of the Azamgarh district magistrate’s office. The march was led by Indian Youth Congress president Rajiv Satav,who told the gathering that the organisation would launch statewide protests against the misrule of the Mayawati government.

Later,a delegation of the organisation submitted a memorandum to the DM demanding immediate attention to power crisis and weavers’ problems in the district.

Satav said more such programs would be organised by the youth wing of the Congress to expose the misrule of the Mayawati government.
