Crew of Paapad Pol visits Lucknow

Not every serial on Sab TV is the toast of the household in these parts of the country,especially ones like Paapad Pol. “That is exactly what brings us here,” said business head of the channel Anuj Kapoor,who was in Lucknow along with lead actors of the show Ami Trivedi and Swapnil Joshi. “While other sitcoms like Laapataganj,Mr and Mrs Sharma Allahabad Waale and Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma are pretty well received here,we want people to watch this one too for the simple view of life and its travails it presents,” said Kapoor. Joshi,who started his career playing Lord Krishna,is glad to be typecast in comic roles such as those he has been playing,while Trivedi says the show has given her more recognition than all her previous projects. Kapoor said the channel would soon air Agra Bazaar about a market run entirely by women.
