What is fashion without booze,some air kissing and leggy models followed by adoring fans. Despite having it all,the highly anticipated Tarun Tahiliani party at the 3C Lounge,on Wednesday night,was somewhat of a letdown.

For one,there were not many pretty party people in attendance. While socialites Latika Khaneja and Tanisha Mohan hobnobbed with the fashion frat,Eric from Silhouette salon in Oberoi was seen putting down wine with DJ Iggy in the not-so-glamorous smoking area,where carpenters and set managers shuffled around,unfazed by the glitterati.

Stylist Mohan Neelkantan was quick to share the do’s and don’ts (note: “don’t sport false lashes,unless on the runway”).

Dressed in a classic Missoni dress,Goa-based boutique owner Isabelle Hernandes dazzled party goers with a half-moon bag.

“It’s so easy to stand out in Missoni,this bag adds oomph,that compliments the outfit,” she stated.

The Twitter girls,Monica and Sapna,meanwhile,were seen urging guests to tweet live — not many had the time to login though.
