Missing eight-year-old boy’s body found in tank

The body of an eight-year-old boy was recovered from a tank in Lucknow’s Madioan area on Saturday morning. Sumit,a student of Class I,was missing since August 26. His father Ramesh Lodh,a farmer,had filed a complaint at the Madioan police station. On Saturday,Sumit’s cousin Phool Chand noticed foul smell emanating from the locked house of his neighbour Rajan. Circle officer,Aliganj,Shalabh Mathur said according to the postmortem report the death occurred due to strangulation.
