Labourer electrocuted
Lucknow: Thirty-year-old Rajesh Kumar died and three others were injured when they came in contact with an electric wire at Jamkhanva village in Lucknow’s Itaunja on Saturday.

The injured were identified as Umesh Singh (35),Atul (30) and Ajay Verma (40). They were rushed to the hospital. The police said the victims were daily wagers and were hired by a local contractor. “When the victims were straightening a pole,it came in contact with electric wire,” said Station Officer Shashi Kumar Pandey.
