Touchdown India begins today for Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise. On a whirlwind media trip to promote his fourth film in the Mission Impossible franchise,the actor,along with co-star Paula Patton,will fly to New Delhi in a private jet on Saturday morning.

On a whirlwind media trip to promote his fourth film in the Mission Impossible franchise,the actor,along with co-star Paula Patton,will fly to New Delhi in a private jet on Saturday morning. Delhi though is more of a stopover,just to get his Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol co-star Anil Kapoor join him aboard as they dash together to Agra for a photo op at the Taj Mahal. From Delhi to Agra and back,they will ride in a chopper. Cruise will arrive in Mumbai on Saturday evening. He’ll be put up at the Tata suite,the fancy 5,000-sq-ft presidential suite at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel,where US President Barack Obama stayed. Team Cruise,that travels with him,includes his personal chef,physical trainer and assistant. His lists of do’s and don’ts have already reached the hotel. He will only eat organic food and the air conditioner has to be set at 23 degrees.

Kapoor and Viacom 18 (representing the MI studio Paramount Pictures) are hosting a lavish party on Saturday evening in Cruise’s honour at the Taj rooftop. Bollywood is expected to be in full force. Sunday is the day when his fans get to meet the superstar. A screening for 1,500 fans has been organised,post which the actor will interact with the fans and media. Cruise,Kapoor and Patton then fly out to Dubai for the world premiere of Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Cruise reprises the role of agent Ethan Hunt in the film and among the thrill highlights of the film is his rappelling sequence down the 2,716 ft Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.
