Sitapur:Two teenagers were killed and another person injured after being hit by a van in Hargaon area,police said on Sunday. Neetu (14) and Sonu (12) were killed when the cycle they were riding was hit by the van on Hargaon-Maholi road near Raipur village late last evening,police said. One Sagar (35) was injured in the accident,said police.

Uncle kills SP leader son

Ghaziabad:The son of a local SP leader was shot dead allegedly by his uncle in Ghaziabad on Sunday following a dispute over a luxury car,police said. Police said 31-year-old Prashant Kaushik,son of Sudhir Kaushik,died after his uncle Hari Mohan Kaushik,also a party leader,fired six shots from his licenced .32-caliber pistol at him around 1 am. Bullets hit him in the chest and head. Prashant died on way to hospital. The body was cremated after the autopsy, a policeman said.
