Arya win Eram Cup final

Arya Cricket Academy defeated DYA team by five wickets in the final to stake claim at the winner’s trophy of the First Eram Cup Cricket Tournament at Northern Railway Stadium,Lucknow on Thursday. Choosing to bat first after winning the toss,DYA scored 114 runs losing all their wickets in 27.1 overs in the 30 overs-a-side match. Rohan Bambi (30) and Shivansh Sharma (30) batted responsibly for the team. But besides them,only few others could stay at the crease for long. Sumit Tiwari took three wickets while Shalabh Singh claimed two wickets.

In reply,Arya Cricket Academy was able to attain the set mark with good ease in 21.1 overs with five wickets in hand. Vishwajeet Singh (42 not out) was the top run-getter. Anurag Tiwari (21 not out) also batted well. On behalf of DYA,Harshit Asthana took three wickets. The prize distribution was held later and Ajay Singh of Paramount Club was declared ‘Man-of-the-Series’.
