Three mutilated bodies were recovered from a cane field in Dadri village under Daurala police station on the Delhi-Muzaffarnagar highway. According to top police officials,the deceased include two truck trolley drivers and a cleaner belonging to Jharkhands Hazaribagh district. Police suspect they were killed on the night of October 20 by highway robbers. They were killed by highway robbers who escaped with all eighteen tyres of the truck trolley. This is a simple criminal act and has nothing to do with the Muzaffarnagar violence, Daurala SHO Devendra Pal said.
The truck owner,Mahesh Yadav,had lodged an FIR that two of his drivers and a cleaner had escaped with the truck trolley,but police were yet to take action in the case. Pramod,the village head,informed the cops about the bodies,which had been trampled by animals. The FIR lodged by Yadav has been linked with the three bodies.
Based on their identity cards,the deceased have been identified as Raqeeb Ansari,Montu and Babulal.
