17 IPS officers transferred

The state government transferred 17 IPS officers,including nine district police chiefs late on Sunday night.

According to a release,Brij Raj,SSP of Muzaffar Nagar,Aditya Mishra,DIG,Jhansi,Dipesh Juneja,DIG (PAC),Agra Sector and N K Srivastava,DIG/SSP,Bareilly,have been posted as the SP (Intelligence Headqaurters) Lucknow,DIG/SSP Agra,DIG/SSP,Bareilly,and DIG,Jhansi range respectively.

P K Mishra,SP,Jalaun,Vijay Prakash,SP,Bulandshahr,Nilesh Kumar,SP,Bulandshar,D C Mishra,SP Rae Bareli,K Satyanarayan,Commandant,PACs 34th Battalion,Sanjeev Gupta,SP Fathegarh and Pravin Kumar,SSP,Etawah have been made SP,Rae Bareli,SP,Kheri,commandant,10 th Batallion,PAC,Barabanki,SP,Mirzapur,the SP,Intelligence Headqaurters,Lucknow,the SP,Muzaffarnagar respectively.

IPS officers Akhilesh Kumar,P K Gautam,Anil Kumar Das and Rakesh Pradahan would join as SPs of Fathegarh, Jalaun,Kannauj and Etahwah. Modak Rajesh D Rao,SP,Mirzapur has been asked to join as commandant,PACs 41 Battalion,Ghaziabad.
