With Trinamool Congress notching up an impressive win in the West Bengal civic polls,the Congress said that fighting local body elections separately would have no impact on their tie-up at the state and national levels. Parties fight polls to local bodies separately and that does not influence their tie-up at state or Central levels. Our alliance with the Trinamool Congress at both these levels will continue,said AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi. He added: Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee is a part of the UPA and we will contest the Assembly elections in West Bengal together.
