The ACB team caught the V-C on Saturday red-handed after he had last week demanded bribe from the president of a private education institution — conducting short-term courses for college and university students — which wanted to promote itself in the campus, and had sought allotment of examination centres at the institution.
The V-C was caught while accepting the money at his residence Saturday morning. The ACB said the V-C was arrested and would be produced before the ACB court in Hyderabad.
