Young dancers entrall audience at IHC

Students of Natya Tarangini held the audience captive during a dance performance on Saturday evening at the India Habitat Centre.

Students of Natya Tarangini held the audience captive during a dance performance on Saturday evening at the India Habitat Centre. Established in 1976 by Raja Reddy,Radha Reddy and Kaushalya,the Kuchipudi dance institute has its roots in the villages of Andhra Pradesh. Students in the age group of 8 to 12 years presented dances based on the Vedas and Bhagwat Geeta. MP Naveen Jindal also attended the function.

Raja Reddy said the dance is a “spiritual experience for the students,an effort to teach them the value of traditions and cultures”.
