The Ranvir Shorey-Vinay Pathak team is back,and this time around,on television. A part of an original feature series,Kaam Ka Plot,a 92-minute film,written and directed by film journalist Minty Tejpal,tells the story of a common man who loses his job during the recession. Hiding the fact from his wife and child,he walks Mumbais streets every day. One day he meets a sexy woman photographer played by Sandhya Mridul and then a murder mystery ensues. Though made for television,it seems the film will have the humour and sensibility of Mithya and some good music by Vishal Bharadwaj.

Oozing oomph

Vidya Balan is definitely raring to further her sensuous image post-Ishqiya and how. Baring her back,till below her waist,with a sari draped with languid charm,the actress will be seen on the cover of a mens magazine this month. Incidentally,Vidya is the first cover girl of this magazine to be featured in a sari. But she does full justice to it by heightening her appeal by several notches. Talking about her favourite garment,Vidya says,I am so glad that people are getting bored of seeing women in bikinis. I think the sari is by far the sexiest garment. It covers the right amount,it exposes the right amount. Is that why you have adopted sari so fiercely,Vidya?

The Jinx Continues

The release of Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun has now been deferred to November 12. The movie,which has been hyped as Indias Brokeback Mountain,has been the victim of various protests for weeks now. Earlier,the film was scheduled to release on Diwali. That plan was cancelled since no police protection was available with the Mumbai police force on Barack Obama duty this weekend.
