Ticket features to prevent replication

The OC has started the sale of tickets from its 20 outlets in Delhi. Those who have booked through the Internet will get a physical ticket against their e-vouchers.Till now,tickets worth Rs 10 crore have been sold. The outlets include — Delhi Haat,Delhi Secretariat,seven Hero Honda outlets,Central Bank of India and IRCTC branches. “The ticket has many inbuilt security features,some visible and some invisible. It is to ensure that the ticket can not be replicated. The ticket has been printed on a Rs 1,000 currency note. Like the currency note it will also have the silver line,” OC general secretary Lalit Bhanot said. The ticket will also have a bar code and entry will be allowed only if the barcode reader at the gates reads the ticket. “This will ensure that the ticket is not replicated,” Bhanot added.
