The long-drawn yet productive session was conducted by well-known career counsellor Usha Albuquerque along with her colleagues. An impressive assemblage of eager parents and curious students filled the skating rink beyond its capacity. The event began with a welcome address by the vice-principal,which was promptly followed by the first session in which Albuquerque put specific emphasis on discovering oneself on the basis of one’s ability, personality, interest and motivation. Students played an active role in assessing these factors individually. She offered simple solutions to the students by exhorting them to derive career information, analyse their strengths and weaknesses, and then match their potential with the job requirements.
